The Song of Achilles is a Greek myth retelling and its design was created to make non-Greek myth-loving people interested in the story by making the Greek elements subtle, as well as using color and graphics to hint at the story.
The promotional poster for the book also displays similar graphics, having a Greek-style illustration in the background to entice the audience who would be interested, as well as remain subtle enough to embrace a new audience who may not be as familiar with Greek myths.

Stoneblind is another Greek myth retelling story, focused on Medusa. The cover is meant to be mysterious to connect with the themes of the book.
